Technology literacy for tomorrow's leaders

At Van Houston Academy, we believe that technology literacy is essential for the next generation of leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers.

Our Computer Science, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence Program introduces students to the exciting world of technology through hands-on learning, creative projects, and real-world applications.

Hands-On STEM Learning

Students do more than learn about technology. They build, code, test, improve, collaborate, and solve meaningful problems through projects designed to develop confidence and innovation.

STEM Pathway

A complete journey from curiosity to innovation

From elementary exploration to advanced high school courses, Van Houston Academy provides a clear pathway for students to grow in Computer Science, Robotics, and AI.

01

Elementary School

Students build curiosity through age-appropriate robotics activities, coding challenges, engineering projects, and creative STEM exploration.

02

Middle School

Students expand their STEM skills through programming, robotics design, engineering principles, automation, and project-based problem-solving.

03

High School

Students prepare for the future through deeper study of Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, data analysis, and real-world applications.

Elementary School

Building curiosity through exploration

For elementary students, Robotics is a built-in elective designed to spark curiosity and foster a love for STEM.

Through age-appropriate robotics activities, coding challenges, and engineering projects, students develop foundational skills while having fun.

Basic coding and computational thinking
Problem-solving and logical reasoning
Teamwork and collaboration
Engineering design concepts
Creativity through hands-on robotics projects

Inspiring Young Innovators

Our goal is not simply to teach technology, but to inspire students to ask questions, explore new ideas, and develop confidence in their ability to create and innovate.

Annie was selected as one of the winners of our writing contest, "Who Is Your Favorite Teacher?" In her essay, Annie shared why Mr. Rahman, her Robotics teacher, is the best teacher. She described how Mr. Rahman makes learning exciting, encourages students to think creatively, and inspires them to solve problems through hands-on robotics projects.
