Van Houston Private School is an independent educational institution that offers a variety of programs tailored to the needs of families in the Vietnamese community.
Our educational environment is unique – combining rigorous academic courses with comprehensive character education to develop a well-rounded individual.
Family and community are important aspects of school. The learning environment at Van Houston Academy provides a safe place for students to build confidence as they develop personally. Additionally, we promote community engagement through school-wide events to develop compassion in our students.

UNIVERSITY PREPARATION IS Integrated into CLASSES
We have classes dedicated to SAT preparation and college planning. Graduates pursuing higher education will go to the university of their choice with a scholarship.
USE THE COLLEGE CHARACTER EDUCATION PROGRAM
Our GRACE course is in partnership with Lyceum Global, known for teaching their emotion management techniques to college students in the US and in Vietnam. GRACE has helped improve family relationships and increase a sense of belonging among peers.
REAL TRIPS ARE ORGANIZED MANY times a year
Students have the opportunity to engage with the world around them through exciting and educational field trips. Notable trips include campus-wide camping, art galleries, robotics competitions, and more around the Houston area.
